Oggi l’uomo ricerca l’aria aperta, la natura incontaminata nella quale estraniarsi dalla realtà grigia, triste e frenetica che si è creato.

Prima bastava uscire di poco dalla città e subito si entrava in aperta campagna, ma da diverse decine di anni a questa parte, è nata la necessità di creare zone come parchi e giardini, che tentano di emulare la natura vera e che cercano di proporre agli abitanti delle città una soluzione pratica e veloce alla mancanza di qualcosa di necessario.

Il verde “urbano” non è natura vera e propria, ma costruzione mediante elementi naturali. La società ha perso lungimiranza, i “bisogni sociali” ai quali si chiede che il Verde Urbano dia soddisfazione sono sempre immediati.

L’urgente prende il sopravvento su un domani che non siamo più capaci di immaginare.
